Queste sculture nascono da un’anatomia sottratta.
Non rappresentano il corpo, ne trattengono l’eco.
Torace, bacino, colonna vertebrale sono solo punti di partenza, matrici che vengono attraversate, deformate, rese altro. La porcellana, fragile e resistente insieme, diventa osso che ha perso la sua funzione e ne ha acquisita un’altra: non più sostegno, ma rivelazione.
Ogni struttura sembra emergere da una pressione interna. Come se qualcosa, rimasto a lungo in stato di latenza, avesse trovato una fessura per affiorare. Non è un gesto violento, è una lenta insistenza.
Le superfici trattengono tracce: pelliccia, spine, ferro, vino, make-up. Elementi che parlano di attrazione e difesa, di cura e ferita, di desiderio e controllo. Nulla è illustrativo. Tutto è allusivo.
Queste forme non mostrano l’ombra, la contengono.
Non denunciano l’abisso, lo rendono abitabile.
Sono strutture di un interno che non conosciamo del tutto. Fossili di un futuro possibile. Architetture di ciò che in noi resta in sospensione, in attesa di essere riconosciuto.

These sculptures are formed from subtracted anatomy.
They do not depict the body, but retain its resonance.
The chest, pelvis, and spine are merely starting points—matrices that are traversed, deformed, and transformed into something else entirely. Porcelain, simultaneously fragile and resistant, becomes bone that has lost its original function and acquired another: no longer to support, but to reveal.
Each structure seems to emerge from internal pressure, as if something long held in latency has found a fissure through which to surface. This is not a violent act, but a slow insistence.
The surfaces retain traces of fur, thorns, iron, wine, and make-up. Elements that speak of attraction and defence, care and injury, desire and control. Nothing is illustrative. Everything is allusive.
These forms do not depict shadows; they embody them.
They do not denounce the abyss; they render it inhabitable.
They are the structures of an interior we do not fully understand: fossils of a possible future, architectures of what remains suspended within us, waiting to be recognised.

Sono apparizioni più leggere, ma non meno radicali.
Qui l'architettura si fa vibrazione.
Le linee non delimitano, sondano.
Cercano una forma che ancora non è stabilizzata.
Se nelle sculture la latenza è materia compressa, nei disegni è movimento trattenuto.
È un pensiero che prende corpo nel gesto, ma resta aperto, instabile.
Le forme sembrano emergere da uno spazio interiore non cartografato. Non descrivono organi né figure riconoscibili, ma evocano una memoria anatomica che lo sguardo percepisce prima di capire.
Sono soglie.
Stati di passaggio.
Tracce di qualcosa che si sta costituendo.
Se le sculture sono strutture che hanno attraversato una trasformazione, i disegni sono il momento in cui quella trasformazione è ancora in atto.

The drawings do not generate the Strutture Latenti sculptures. They accompany them.
These lighter apparitions are no less radical.
Here, architecture becomes vibration.
The lines do not define; they explore.
They search for a form that has not yet stabilised.
While latency is compressed matter in the sculptures, in the drawings it becomes restrained movement.
A thought takes shape through gesture, yet remains open and unstable.
The forms seem to emerge from an uncharted inner space. They do not depict recognisable organs or figures, but evoke an anatomical memory perceived by the eye before it is understood by the mind.
They are thresholds.
States of transition.
Traces of something in the process of becoming.
While the sculptures present structures that have already undergone transformation, the drawings capture the moment in which that transformation is still unfolding.
